B Milli Interview

1.What You been Up too Since New Year ?

In the studio working on mine & Blevins "The Truth Hurts" The Prequel Mixtape and "The Truth Hurts" Album also been doing some features with artist across TN and different states and a couple out of country and just really been plotting the year...video's,shows,Etc...I've been more behind the scenes since my son was born Sept 27 but still been working hard on the music and look forward to all the upcoming shows

2.When is the new Mixtape droppin? Whos involved in the project?

March/April at the latest, it's a collaboration between Blevins and Myself

3.Whats your Vibe about this year? What can Your fans Expect?

I think it's gonna be a lil slow to jump off but once the ball really gets rolling this year we're gonna have an amazing year and keep building from last year

4.Whats ur take on the music biz as a whole right now ?

It's obviously over saturated and anytime that happens there's gonna be a lot of non up to par material...artist are rushing songs, features, there about quantity and it's making there music lose quality. This is something i've learned a lot more of over the past year, but there is still a lot of great music out there, you just have to look in the right places! There is a lot of talent out there!

5.Hows your crew/label doin? and what can we expect from your crew/label in 2012?'

We're doing great really been getting the books right and making sure everything is 110% legal. We've got shows coming up in Ky, Mo, Tn and more. Collab mixtape/album from Blevins and myself, Solo mixtape from Ksino Riches and solo mixtape from Zeeto, and the homie Dizzle workin' on something special on the production side and Riches makin' heaters as always! Daniel Brummitt is on his job from the manager side, Pauly B & C.J. Standish always holding us down with the promo...I feel like I can't lose, it's all about the team...and we have one hell of a team!

6.You've been building your buzz for a while now here in Tennessee.. How has the process been so far developing and building outside the state?
My first experience with that was probably on the internet but didn't see any real fans come from it until last year when the homie Pauly B linked me with O.G. Ent. and I made a trip to Louisville, Ky to do a show and I loved the experience of going out of town and having barely anyone knowing who you are so your getting judged by the music and I love that...I had a good response that night and have did one show in Louisville since with the homie Blevins and have another one coming up this Saturday in Bowling Green, Ky....I am looking forward to hitting some new out of state cities this year including Springfield, Mo April 19...Anytime I go to a show I have plenty of cd's,flyers, stickers, etc. on deck so I make sure they know about what Grind All Night Ent. is and who B Milli is and I think I do a pretty decent job at it

7.Whats the driving force behind you and your music?

Passion, my music and what drives me is what i'm feeling at the time, now my son inspires me a lot and my music is really just inspired by my life

8.Did you always aspire to pursue rap professionally?

no, I grew up with aspirations to play ball, got into trouble and messed that up and music was there when I needed an outlet. i've loved hip hop since I can remember and always fantasized if being the one rapping but didn't pick up a pen ti'll I was 17.
